Description

The fruit body of Hericium erinaceus is head-shaped, unbranched, white, and the fruit body of dried Hericium erinaceus is white with yellow in color. The size is 5-20 cm, fleshy, solid inside, and stalkless. The base is narrow, and the base of artificially cultivated Hericium erinaceus is often stalk-shaped because it grows beyond the mouth of the bottle or plastic bag.
