Description

Small evergreen tree with long thorns. Single leaves alternate, leathery, petioles with elongated or obverse heart-shaped wings; leaves are oblong, with translucent oil spots. Flowers arranged in racemes; calyx cup-shaped, 5-lobed; petals 5, white, oblong. The citrus fruit is round and slightly flat, orange-yellow when mature. Flowering period is from April to May, fruiting period is from June to November.
